Ash is countered by Jäger (ADS eats the round) and Wamai (mag-NET pulls and detonates it early). Ash counters Mira, Azami (a round removes a Kiba Barrier from range) and Castle (beats Castle on entry). Ash pairs best with Zofia and Finka.

What does Ash counter?

• MiraHard counterrounds take out mirrors on soft walls and can hit the mirror directly. Breaks the Black Mirror.
• AzamiStronga round removes a Kiba Barrier from range (missing counter reported by players: TRUE). Breaching rounds pop the Kiba barriers.
• CastleStrongBeats Castle on entry.
• MaestroSituationalBreaching rounds pop the Evil Eyes.

Ash myths

• Ash switches off Bandit/Kaid/Mute on a reinforced breach wall. Her rounds cannot open a reinforced wall, so she only reaches wall denial through an adjacent soft wall or floor; it is not a reliable clear.

• 2 rounds (since Update 6.2.0, June 2021); rounds are immune to Mute, Bandit and Kaid. (since Y6S2)
• Rounds are soft breaching: they open unreinforced walls, floors, barricades, deployable shields and barbed wire, not reinforced walls. (since launch)
• Jäger's ADS destroys the round; Wamai's Mag-NET makes it detonate at the Mag-NET. (since launch / Y5)
• A round destroys a Black Mirror on a soft wall (by destroying the wall) or by a direct hit on the mirror. (since launch)
• Y11S2.1 (June 24 2026): explosive damage range 2.2 m (from 2 m). (since Y11S2.1)
• Kiba Barriers are destroyed by any explosive; the Azami page names Ash's Breaching Rounds first. (since Y7S1 (Azami release))
