Ram: counters, combos and tips
Attacker · Redhammer · vertical, soft breach, space taker
Ram is countered by Mute (jammer keeps a deployed BU-GI dormant). Ram counters Castle (shreds Armor Panels and barricades in its path), Aruni (disables Surya Gates without being destroyed) and Azami (tears through Kiba Barriers that plug holes). Ram pairs best with Fuze.
Ram's gadget: BU-GI Auto Breacher
Three remotely started, bulletproof mini-tanks that drive a set path (straight, left or right), exploding the soft floor under them about once a second and wrecking soft walls, barricades, unreinforced hatches and gadgets in the way; reinforced walls and hatches stop them.

Ram myths
- Ram > Mute. Mute is the one counter in the kit that stops a BU-GI from starting; Ram does not switch off his jammer.
- Ram > Bandit / Ram > Kaid (wall denial). BU-GI ignores electricity, but it cannot open reinforced walls or hatches, so it does nothing about shock on the breach wall or a Kaid-claw hatch.
- Ram 'clears utility' (as wall-denial clearing). She clears floor-level utility in her path (shields, panels, traps), not wall denial; the model was right to drop clear.
- Jäger catches Ram. ADS intercept list has no BU-GI and Mag-NET explicitly ignores it; players are right.
- Ram is good on sites with no soft floor above (Oregon basement under concrete, top floors). BU-GI only opens breakable floors; on a top floor or under an unbreakable floor she has no vertical value.
Key Ram facts (Y11S3)
- BU-GI destroys breakable floors, soft walls, barricades and unreinforced hatches; it destroys everything it touches except reinforcements and indestructible surfaces, so it cannot open a reinforced hatch or wall. (since Y8S3)
- About once per second it explodes the floor beneath it, making impact-sized holes in soft floors: vertical play needs a soft floor above the site. (since Y8S3)
- Destroys deployable shields, Castle barricades and other bulletproof gadgets in its path, and triggers floor traps (Lesion, Thorn, low Kapkan). (since Y8S3)
- Immune to electricity (Bandit, Kaid) and disables Aruni Surya Gates without being destroyed. (since Y8S3)
- Mute's Signal Disruptor blocks the activation signal: a BU-GI deployed inside a jammer's radius stays dormant until the jammer is gone; an already-running BU-GI keeps going through a jammer (mechanical). (since Y8S3 (still listed after the Y10S4 jammer rework))
- Since Y11S3.2 (mid-season update, Oct 2026) BU-GIs that hit Barbed Wire get entangled, stop completely and self-destruct (before this, they shredded wire). (since Y11S3.2)
- Not affected by Wamai's Mag-NET; Jäger's ADS intercept list does not include BU-GI.
- Mozzie's Pests cannot hack it; it is killed by impact grenades, C4/Nitro Cells or by shooting the red canister at its rear. (since Y8S3)
- Pro presence: played in 6% of all rounds in SiegeGG-tracked matches (time window not stated, likely cumulative, so older operators are favoured). (since siege.gg, read 2026-10-20)
