Deimos is countered by Mute (jammer radius pauses tracking), Vigil (ERC-7 blocks the DeathMARK) and Tubarão (zoto radius pauses tracking). Deimos pairs best with Jackal.

Deimos's gadget: DeathMARK Tracker

Small tracker drone that gives a live ping on an already-identified defender for ~20-30 s (up to 3 per round, cooldown between uses), while the target also sees a delayed ping of Deimos; paired with the wall-penetrating .44 Vendetta.

• Deimos counters Vigil. Reverse: ERC-7 blocks DeathMARK (already FIXED in the model; keep).
• Deimos tracks anyone at any time. Needs an identified target, has a cooldown and only up to three DeathMARKs; feedback 'Deimos merked everyone' points at too-high hunt.

Key Deimos facts (Y11S3)

• Can only target identified defenders (spotted by drone, hacked camera, scan etc.). (since Y9S1 (Deadly Omen))
• Vigil's ERC-7 completely nullifies DeathMARK while active and prevents tracking from starting. (since Y9S1)
• Standing in Mute's Signal Disruptor or Tubarão's Zoto Canister radius pauses the tracking (both ways). (since Y9S1)
• An EMP dart from a defender Bulletproof Camera or Thatcher's EMP on Deimos disrupts active DeathMARKs; if done before tracking starts, the DeathMARK is refunded. (since Y9S1)
• Y11S2 (June 2026): wait time after identifying an enemy reduced to 4 s (from 5). (since Y11S2)
• The targeted defender also gets a delayed ping on Deimos's location, so the duel is two-way. (since Y9S1)
